Job Description:
A company is looking for an Actuarial Director to lead the
actuarial function and collaborate with executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and reporting of total cost of care savings
forecasts
Oversee annual financial reconciliations of value-based contracts
and validate results with actuarial counterparts
Build and develop an actuarial team while executing analyses to
quantify financial and risk trade-offs in contracts
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Economics,
Math, or a related quantitative discipline
ASA or FSA certification
5+ years of actuarial experience in healthcare and/or medical
economics
2+ years of experience mentoring junior staff members
Experience with financial modeling and forecasting in Excel related
to healthcare cost impacts
