children and families!The Associate Executive Director is
accountable for advancing the CHS mission through community
development and business growth, supporting CHS impact through
strong fundraising programs that will help to advance CHS strategic
objectives and priorities. Leading the local Development Team, the
incumbent leverages community partnerships and works closely with
internal and external stakeholders to manage funding and revenue
development. Overall, the Associate Executive Director contributes
to the CHS high performance culture by exhibiting our values and
providing quality results that position CHS as the leader in
delivering proactive behavioral health, case management, community,
and early childhood solutions for children and families.

Responsibilities:
- Community Partner, Board, Donor Stewardship & Cultivation (70%)
- Manage a donor portfolio of 30+ donors, acting as the primary
relationship manager within the community.
- Direct the local Development Team in developing and executing
annual goals and strategies, donor engagement activities, special
events, planned giving, and CRM use.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to craft strategy to
establish fundraising objectives.
- Partner with Development and Special Event leadership to
execute statewide strategy, adhere to benchmarks and KPIs.
- Participate in annual fundraising and other events; collaborate
in grant writing, when needed.
- Assist the Executive Director in serving as a professional
resource to regional Boards by supporting their understanding of
statewide strategy, providing education, and facilitating Board
engagement.
- Find and facilitate strategic opportunities for prospects to
interact with senior CHS executives and board members.
- Program Marketing & Brand Recognition (20%)
- Collaborate with Communications to develop and implement
targeted campaigns and approaches for current and prospective
donors.
- Assist in the creation and distribution of collateral and
marketing materials for donors, when needed.
- Collaborate with other Development and Business Line leaders to
organize meetings, trainings, and recognition events, when
needed.
- Attend sponsored and other events to build and deepen
relationships with prospective and current donors and other key
constituents.
- Represent CHS at donor, community, and special events, as
needed.
- Program Administration & Reporting (10%)
- Collaborate with the Finance Team to coordinate administration,
management, and stewardship of donations and annual giving.
- Monitor and understand all CHS policies and practices regarding
risk management, donation processing, and financial controls.
- Work closely with the Data Team to track and record gifts and
donor records in the CRM.
- Create, manage, and track ROI metrics for fundraising to
demonstrate the value of giving to CHS.
- Use the CRM to document within 24 hours, staying current with
changes while following Moves Management policy and practices.
- Serve as the Executive Director in their absence.
- Team Development and Leadership:
- Recruit, supervise and support team members and foster their
development.
- Establish annual team goals and objectives; track and report
results.
- Coach, support, and evaluate team member performance, taking
corrective action if needed.
- Deliver timely communication through regular management and
team meetings.
- Comply and confirm compliance with CHS code of conduct,
policies, practices, and other legal obligations.
- Implement policies and practices designed to prevent,
recognize, and respond to work-related stress.
- Participate in succession planning to build the bench strength
necessary for future talent needs.
- Develop a strong knowledge base and stay current on job-related
issues and trends.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, training, and
education, as well as the quality process.
- Pick up projects on the fly; perform other duties as assigned
from time to time.

all job duties.Job Qualifications:Education, Licenses &
Certifications:
- Bachelor's in Business Administration, Marketing, Development,
or related degree from an accredited university, required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be
considered.Experience:
- Five or more years of senior level experience in professional
fundraising across multiple channels, required.
- Experience developing and managing large-scale fundraising
initiatives, special events, and relationships.
- Experience using fundraising software, such as Virtuous.
- Demonstrated success in cultivating, soliciting, and closing
$100,000+ in donations and/or gifts.Knowledge of:
