Job Description:
A company is looking for a Hitachi Mainframe Developer to join
their remote mainframe team.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy mainframe-based applications and
scripts on the Hitachi platform
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within mainframe systems
to ensure optimal performance and uptime
Analyze system performance metrics and implement enhancements to
improve efficiency and scalability
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in mainframe development and scripting, with
expertise in Hitachi platforms
Proficiency in mainframe programming languages (e.g., COBOL, JCL,
REXX)
Strong understanding of Hitachi mainframe architecture and
tools
Knowledge of file transfer protocols, batch processing, and
scheduling tools
Experience in automation tools and techniques within mainframe
environments is preferred
