Job Description:
A company is looking for a Chief Legal Officer/General
Counsel.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the legal affairs of the company's lines of
business
Provide legal counsel to executive leadership on corporate
strategies, M&A opportunities, and regulatory compliance
Manage a high-performance legal team and coordinate with outsourced
legal counsel as needed
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school and an active
license to practice law in a US state
Ten or more years of experience in senior leadership roles within a
legal department or law firm
Experience in managing legal issues related to mergers and
acquisitions
Knowledge of labor negotiations and general business operating
policies
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and develop new
policies and procedures
